Refund and Cancellation Policy

For Parents and Guardians

Since our users are primarily students under 18, all purchases require parental authorisation. We strongly recommend using the free demo before purchasing. Special protections apply for unauthorised purchases made by minors.

About This Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs all purchases made on the SelfEnabler platform operated by Tutelage Education Services Private Limited ("Company", "We", "Us") at selfenabler.com.

Since the majority of SelfEnabler users are students below 18 years of age, all purchases are made by or with the authorisation of a parent or lawful guardian. This policy is therefore addressed to parents and guardians who make purchase decisions on behalf of their children.

We encourage parents to review package details, included features, and the free demo experience thoroughly before making any purchase.

Free Demo and Trial

SelfEnabler offers a free demo account that allows students and parents to experience the platform's core features before making any purchase. The free demo includes:

(a) Up to 3 free test attempts to experience Bloom's Taxonomy-based assessments.

(b) A 7-day AI Guru trial to experience guided concept learning.

(c) Full access to performance reports and cognitive profiles for attempted tests.

We strongly recommend that parents and students use the free demo to understand the product, its features, and its suitability for the student's academic needs before purchasing any paid package.

Cancellation Policy

Since SelfEnabler provides a comprehensive free demo and trial experience, and since paid packages grant immediate digital access to assessments and learning features, cancellation is subject to the following terms:

(a) Before package activation: If a payment has been made but the package has not yet been activated or used, you may request cancellation within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.

(b) After package activation: Once a paid package has been activated and any test or AI Guru session has been initiated, the package is considered used and cannot be cancelled.

(c) Auto-renewal: SelfEnabler does not currently offer auto-renewing subscriptions. All purchases are one-time transactions for a defined package.

To request cancellation, contact us at refunds@selfenabler.com within the applicable timeframe with your registered email and order details.

Refund Policy

Refunds are processed under the following circumstances:

(a) Duplicate payment: If a payment was charged twice for the same package due to a technical error, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full within 7 business days.

(b) Payment failure with deduction: If a payment was deducted but the package was not activated due to a technical failure, the full amount will be refunded within 7 business days.

(c) Cancellation within 24 hours (unused package): If cancellation is requested within 24 hours of purchase and the package has not been used, a full refund will be processed within 7 business days.

(d) Platform unavailability: If the platform experiences extended downtime (more than 72 consecutive hours) that prevents a student from using a purchased package during its validity period, we will either extend the package validity or offer a proportionate refund at the Company's discretion.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider (typically 5–7 business days after approval).

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:

(a) The student has already attempted one or more tests or used AI Guru sessions under the purchased package.

(b) The student's academic performance or test results were not as expected — the platform provides educational tools, not guaranteed academic outcomes.

(c) The parent or student did not use the free demo before purchasing and is dissatisfied with the product.

(d) The cancellation request is made after 24 hours of purchase and the package has been activated.

(e) Account suspension or termination due to violation of the Terms and Conditions.

Special Consideration for Minor Users

Since our primary users are children below 18 years of age, we apply the following additional considerations:

(a) If a child makes an unauthorised purchase without parental knowledge (e.g., using a saved payment method), the parent may report this within 48 hours for review. The Company will assess the claim and may offer a full or partial refund at its discretion.

(b) In the event of a dispute, we will prioritise the welfare of the child and the reasonable expectations of the parent.

(c) We will not hold a child liable for payment disputes. All financial responsibility rests with the parent or lawful guardian.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following details:

(a) Registered email address and student name.

(b) Order ID or transaction reference number.

(c) Reason for the refund request.

(d) Date of purchase.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 7 business days of approval.

Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a refund request, you may escalate the matter to our Grievance Officer:
